only kidding, i like pico/nano (and i think xterm or aterm, or something cool i found in vector4/xfce4).
EDIT: d'oh, xterm & aterm are terminals, not editors!

in my opinion a text editor is a text editor.
i can't tell the difference between most. and there's a few hundred out there.

Can somebody give me step by step installation guide for the installing web based mail server under RH8.
I am a novice. I request you togive the source url for download and configuration especially of the network. I am on dialup networking to internet.

Yes they should be ported and no not using DirectX. They should use the Linux equivalent - SDL or Mesa. Open GL is now owned by M$. If M$ wanted they could start charging a royalty fee for using Open GL and DirectX Do you want to pay M$ for overpriced sw?
