I don't know wether these appeared in this list or not since this is a really long thread. However I have a few apps I'd like to see as native Linux apps. We already have good apps in Linux. But some of the following sounds nice.

* 7-Zip (I know there's a port. But the full thing with GUI would be nicer for desktop integration)

* Free Download Manager (I'm not pushing this since D4X is an excelent tool)

and last but not least,

* .theprodukkt - tools related to demoscene (I'm not using these, but I certainly enjoy demos. Although they might have problems for using DirectX, I'm pretty convinced that Linux graphics can provide cool things like that and better)

I would like to see ported :
- tools to access files on mobile phones
- foobar2000
- foxit pdf reader
- deepburner

1- Yahoo Messenger, with VOICE CHAT in Public Chat Rooms and with Webcam support .
2- a good media player that players WMV WMA ...

i wouldn't like linux to run any of windows products. Instead I would like it better if they (the native linux apps) match and surpass than those of windows.

Note that Picasa uses a version of Wine to run the current Windows version of Picasa.
