MSN Explorer?
Maybe a quick port of MSN Explorer or make up a browser to look, act like MSN Explorer (NOT MSN 9! MSN Explorer 7!)
But i know MS Wouldn't...
Maybe make Firefox look like it and make a active Mail Checker (one that will automatically detect the presence of the Internet and then sign on to MSN Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail...AUTOMATICALLY)
For use with the likes of Epson R210 and the Cannon series, can't really use them under wine as it doesn't support USB. Have only found CD cover printing software not disc and it really helps to have these lovely covers when looking through stacks of open source backup discs.

Distribution??? Have USB enabled? Have CUPS installed, then use Cups with your USB printer and you can use whatever word processor you have that comes with your distribution, and make your own designs.
Are you talking about printing on the actual disc via the printers disc tray? I thought I'd looked through the word processors for this kind of template.

You will have to do some adjustments to the Document but I know it can be done. I can't test it, as I have an HP 1215VM Photosmart printer. It does not print on the surface of CD/DVD disc's
So I guess what you are saying is I must set up my own Document Template, which I would see as not quite right. With for example the Epson's PrintCD software package, you have automatic image inserts, a variable centre hole size adjustment (depending on what media you have) and the program shows you quite clearly what will print and what won't. I looked for ages in Openoffice 2.0 for a template that would do this and none were for discs. I have no idea how I would make one of these with a circular template, perhaps I will investigate this, so thanks for that tip. However there are quite a few cover designers out there, I would have thought by now they would have put a disc template in already.

Well yes of course you have to create it yourself. Until Either Roxio or some other CD Burning Software comes up with a decent Linux version, we are stuck making our own, not evenK3B has that feature yet. Maybe a newer version will include a CD Disc Print option for a Label and then you're all set.
