what packageges nessisary to make Hulu work

Hello all, I reciently installed Debian Squeeze. I seem to be at a loss at what packages I need installed or what need be configured to make Hulu work. Not interested in installing Hulu Desktop as it is just to klunky for me. I just want to watch movies from hulu.com which works perfectly on Debian Lenny, however I just can't remember if anthing I did specificly to make it work. I found and installed flash from the repository, the codecs and related items that I thought nessisary as well but I am sure I am missing something. Do i need sun java along with flash or is there a flash version i need get somewhere eles?
Hulu will start but when a movie is selected it just displays a blank black screen.

Any help appriciated, Jon

Launch your browser from a terminal. Then navigate to hulu.com and select a movie. If there is an error in playback, it should show up in the terminal window. Then you will know whats missing.

Basically if you can see youtube you should be able to see hulu. Might be some countries that are blocked.

If you have a hosts file you might need to remark out a few lines.

You mean hulu not hulu plus?

Just regular Hulu.
Got it working on most episodes. I will retry tomorrow as it may be just a busy thing at hulu server. Some episodes report "your movie will start in 37 seconds".....and they just hang there. will post in a day or so with results. Thanks so much so far, Jon

It happens to me as well. Just try after a few minutes, and it should work.
