what mkinitrd flag to use when compiling kernel for suse 9.1


i am running suse 9.1 pro, when i compile the kernel, i have gone through
./configure
make
make install
now i am at the point where I need to run mkinitrd with some kinda flag
can anyone tell me what to do here, thanks.
