what Knoppix version to chose
I am having problems with my Mandrake10, so the IT support people at my university suggested to try Knoppix and see if the problem will be resolved by changing the operating system
From what they told me, Knoppix is this distribution that you burn on 1 CD, insert it into the drive and you have Linux without any installation
Is that so?
I've looked around and found a huge lot of different Knoppix versions.
Because the right choice is crucial in my case, I need a version that is not too old, but known to be "good". "Good" as in tested, reliable, without many bugs and respected among other versions.
Also, since I am a total beginner in Linux it has to have KDE or some sort of a desktop environment.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
