What is XFree86-DRI?

Whenever I try to run xawtv it gives the following warning:

Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".

What is this XFree86-DRi and where can I get it from?

Thankx in advance...

hint::there is a thing called google.com/linux ,so I wonder if you would be kind enough to try that before you come here.
