what is used to make a slide

Windows use powerpoint to make a slide.
How about Linux?
I don't mean OpenOffice or KOffice and so on.
I mean the professional software just for linux to use.

Huh?

Your question suggests that OO is, somehow, not “professional.” Do you have some reason for suggesting that, or are you just trolling?

ehh..I think if I make "specific" instead of "professional", that'll be better.
So, what's your view?

If you mean which specific product in the OpenOffice suite, it is called "Impress".

If you mean what dedicated products are out there that match PowerPoint - I don't know of any off hand.

phenixs 03-26-2007 11:44 AM

It does not need to match ppt.
I just want to use a dedicated one to make slides.

and i am not willing to use *Office
that'll be a long time for me to compile
