hi linux masters

[root@farooq ~]# rpm -i rdesktop-1.4.1-4.i386.rpm
warning: rdesktop-1.4.1-4.i386.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2
package rdesktop-1.4.1-4 is already installed
[root@farooq ~]# rpm -e rdesktop-1.4.1-4.i386.rpm
error: package rdesktop-1.4.1-4.i386.rpm is not installed
[root@farooq ~]#

look at the both commands first command says pak installed while second
command says psk not installed

Hi farnaw4u,

pass following command:-

rpm -q rdesktop

or

rpm -qa | grep rdesktop

then you will get output similar to:-

rdesktop-x-xx-x-x

and only then you may execute:-
rpm -e rdesktop-x-xx-x-x
