Are you referring to the actual name of the real life penguin? If not, its just a hacked up version of Tux they made, etc.
Most likely its either the Emperor or King Penguin that tux is created after, well the real life type of penguin.

LOL, yeah, I know it's TUX, but in terms of the name of the style of Penguin. Like the rendered Tux is called rendered Tux. The flat cartoony Tux is called Cartoon Tux...I'm just looking for a desktop with icons of that style of drawn/designed Tux....I like the look of that goofy looking one vs. the regular Tux sitting down, etc. the version I like loooks ummm...."modern" Kinda like a Calvin and Hobbs look.....

I would have no idea... I'm sure this would be a question for the person who drew up the character. I only know of one style of penguins when dealing with Linux and that he is called Tux..

Yeah...but they all look the same. But just either rendered or not....this Tux looks pretty neato...just thought there was perhaps a new name like Tux 2 or something....it's wierd cause he's on 2 of several available wallpapers on KDE, but one of them is a X-Mas theme, so it can't be used as a year round wallpaper....
Just looking for that version of Tux. Looks like a Calvin and Hobbs drawing, and when I was looking for a modem, he was on a couple of the packages.....thought maybe there were a name for him.....LOL, he looks funny, like he's OD'd on crack or something, LOL
