what is the best way in resizing ntfs
my office pc came pre installed with win xp. I installed linux in that. Now, I want to decrease the size of the NTFS volume (currently its 75 GB).
I am running mandriva linux.
As i researched the forums, i found that, it is a bit risky to resize the partition from linux.
In that case, if I use partition magic to do that, will it be safe? Will there be any problem with booting linux? Please let me know.
Windows : C: (NTFS)
Common drive : D: (FAT32)
Linux : ext3
Want to transfer 60GB from C: to D:
