What graphical interface do u consider to be the best and why?
In my opinion i think KDE is the best. It has a really good look and tons of great applications.
Whats ur opinion?

it's a matter of taste. it's the same of asking "what's the best distro", there's no "best", it depend what you need and what you are looking for.

Do you really mean which window manager do you think is best, or which toolkit (GTK vs Qt)? KDE's apps run in any window manager as long as you've installed the relevant libraries.

I prefer Fluxbox and Enlightenment for WMs, though KDE can be handy sometimes. :)

I like KDE too, but it's too big. I use fluxbox and it works just fine. Like Proud said, I can still use my KDE apps such as kuickshow and khexedit. They spit out too much debugging information on startup, however, so I use a simple shell script to start them up.

Then I can start it as "quiet khexedit blah.dat &"

KDE all the way.
 

I am lucky enough to have a good fast pc which can handle KDE with no problems.

And I luv it. I have tested most of the others but some dont do enough and others were just orrible.

if you are going to run KDE apps why not just do it in KDE?

So my vote goes to KDE.

I started out with Kde. KDE is great for someone transitioning from a windows environment and is chock full of features.

After some time using linux, however, I compiled and started using blackbox. I fell in love with blackbox for it's speed and stability.

Surfing around bb sites, I ran into fluxbox. Fluxbox along with fluxspace is the best. Icons on the desktop (idesk) cool backgrounds, stability, and raw speed. With transparent terminals (thanks to aterm) my desktop = uebercool.

I can control my desktop anywhere in the world (tightvnc tunneled through ssh) and it runs snappy. Kde wouldn't do that with all of it's eyecandy. :(

Plus, my fav hobby is 3d graphics design with blender (www.blender3d.org) The more system resources for blender, the faster my animations render.

This is just my 3 cents.

As already mentioned, KDE isnt a graphical interface. Qt is the interface around which KDE is built, GTK is the main alternative.

GTK gets my vote. I dont have to justify myself to you. *grin*

Fluxbox rulez ! Its stable and uses less memory.
I just downloaded and tryied it.
