What do I do to decrease kdenlive instability?

Current version of kdenlive doesn't want to collaborate with me again. Sometimes when I call properties of a video file in a frame to the left, kdenlive hangs up. I searched for all user config files:

find ~ | grep kdenlive

and removed them, reconfigured kdenlive and the problem remained. Is there anything else I can do to make the program any more stable?

I have no clue but you may want to remove the old /tmp/kde-socket /tmp/kde-user-name and look for any stale pid that may not be getting cleared in /var/run /var/lock
I have done this and I also found wiping my ~/home/.kde file starting over that has helped me with freezing after an upgrade. Do to kde nepomuk and anakondi .

nepomuk after upgrading to a newer kde has brought me to a crawl many times.
