Tilda opens and closes with one keystroke. Aliases are in the bash shell, available in any terminal. Tilda lets you set the number of scrollback lines. I usually use 1000, but you can put in any number. Window resizing is a different matter, and while most terminals allow dragging to resize the window, Tilda doesn't. That's not important to me, but if it is to you, you probably want to look at some of the many, many terminals available.
