Question What archiving app for Linux will do multiple files of the same name from X?

What archiving app for Linux will do multiple files of the same name from the X-Windows System and recurse the directories like WinZip can?

(Not console like PKzip or zip for Linux, a GUI based archiver.)

I tried both of them and they won't back up like WinZip does and that's a shame.

If you click on the link in my signature, "wanna change...", you will see the archive I struggled to make with some app that got deleted when my system got hacked through ssh. I can't recall the name of it. It was one big hassle getting it to work because of dependencies that practically no one has anymore.

I just remembered. haha

tucows!
