What's the difference between MPT fusion and original driver?

Hello all,

There's LSI 1068E SAS controller on my mobo, and now I am confused which drivers I should select to use.

First, 2.6.21 kernel provides a gernerate MTP-Fusion driver, and LSI1068E is able to recoginized and running smoothly.

Later I find LSI lists the driver of 1068E at its website.

Which driver should I choose? Kernel driver or LSI offical? Is there anyone help me compare above two?

Thanks in advanced.

Phillip
