what's going on here? plz help!

good night, I have a webcam installed on my Debian system (installed yesterday), a Logitech Quickcam zoom, I used PWC to install it. It was everything working fine but now my printer (HP LaserJet 1005) does not work. The most strange fact is that it worked a few hours ago (printer + webcam). Now, the webcam does not work if I turn the printer on, and the printer does not work at all (even with the webcam off).
I tried to change the USB port both of the webcam and printer, but no positive results
And it worked a few hours ago... what happened to the printer I really need it
oh, and if I turn the printer into an USB port, the lsusb command gets blocked when typed
If I turn the printer off, the lsusb command works fine

[EDITED]

Now the webcam works with the printer connected, but the lsusb command does not work at all with the printer connect to the USB ports.

But I am pretty sure the printer is not trashed or crashed...
