wget download acceleration

Hi!

Are there any programs, that are simular to wget features/power, that support multi-connection downloads?

I tried 'aget' and 'proz' but they both lacked loading cookies, and pretty much, everything else wget can do.

I can live without most of the other features in wget, but I really need cookie loading support.

Thanks!

Out of curiosity: Which way do you call wget?
I could imagine, if you're calling it from multiple thread, those wget processes are running independantly...

Thanks
