wget authentication methods

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I would like to use wget to download some financial data from the site http://data.theice.com Have tried the http authentication methods and played around with using cookies. Unfortunately no success thus far, was hoping someone with a little more javascript experience might be able to untangle their authentication method and point me in the right direction. If it would increase my chances of getting some help I could register a free account and post the user name and password here. Thanks

wget is sufficient enough to access with a username/password.

Use the following variables in your command line or script.

--user=user
--password=pass

i.e

wget whatever.com --user=rambo --password-stallowned

Thanks for trying viGeek, but unfortunately you don't seem to have fully read my post.

As you can see I have already tried the method you mentioned above and it is NOT sufficient. Javascript seems to be used rather than http authentication. If you can think of anything else please post but test your theories first!
