wget

hi! from my client i issue the command "wget ftp://192.168.1.1/etc/yum.repos.d/server1.repo" to get the server1.repo file from the internal repository server, but i'm always prompted with the message " No such directory etc/yum.repos.d" any idea what is wrong here?

Thanks.

probably a server-side issue. the server likely doesn't let you look under /etc when logged in anonymously, for security reasons. If you want to use ftp via a user account on the server, use the --ftp-user and --ftp-password options.
