webmin

hi, im having a problem with mysql in a radius server. i have 2 tables and i dont know how to link them in mysql. so i dont have to keep updating 2 tables with the same information? when i did this in a school assignment we could change the interface to suit this. but i am using webmin (i think thats the name) and i am having trouble of where to start attacking my problem. any advice is much appreciated.

I think you want to relicate the databases, not sure if thats what you want.

sorry im just learning so please bear with me.

[Basically, the main idea behind replication is that an update operation is performed first locally, then propagated to other remote replica databases]

if i understand this right this is for updating multiple databases over the net? ill try and clarify my question.

my friends are an isp company and the databases that they use to verify users and passwords ( i think its called a RADIUS ) is a mess. when a new user is added to the database they have to be added to 3 different tables ( in the same database ). the DB is kept all on one computer. i suppose this sounds like a mysql question but wait theres more. when i did a DB for school we had to make the interface up and thats where i overcome this problem of multiple entries of the same data. the interface we use at the moment is a linux interface. i think it is called webadmin? any clues.
thanks

I see now, you just want to input data into two tables in one database with one input
