I am looking for a simple web publishing program. OpenOffice can convert its files into HTML format, but it uses a whole bunch of font tags and other annoyances that don't make the HTML files that complete.
It's not great, but it works. Latex2html is not developed any more, and there are a few things which don't work properly, but at least you can do the whole process programatically.
I'd have to vote for NVU. I create and maintain a couple websites, and NVU is the best app I've found. I was doing it with MS Frontpage when I used Windows, but now that I'm 100% GNU/Linux, NVU is my app of choice. Moreover, it's a much better application than MS FP ever was.
By the way, a cheap and quickie way is to use the Nandu Firefox extension. However, it's not a full-fledged app.
I have been using Bluefish. I find that I am much more "in touch" with what is happening when I use an HTML editor and NOT a "WYSIWYG" editor such as Nvu.
