web buttons w/ gimp

i want to create quick, 20 seconds web buttons. what i want to do is get an image of a blank button, and somehow (using the GIMP's script-fu thing), get it so it just asks what text to enter in, and it automatically places it on the button, and every button output is the same size. i saw a button creator in the script-fu area, but it didnt let me choose wat the button looked like, it was just a green (could be orange) button, with no texture or anything.

so my question is, how do i do this. i konw there are scripts out there, but i dont know where to find them. and if/once i do find them, how do i "install" them?
