Web Browser Help

I have RH9 installed. I want to update the Mozilla web browswer. I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox ( I guess that's the new mozilla) before I unpack it, is there a way to remove the current web browser and put the new one in it's place? Is there something special I have to do?

Also, I have a bucnch of mp3 music files I just pulled off my windows xp box. It appear that mplayer can not play them. What is a good mp3 player that will play these files on linux?

Question 1:

Firefox is a web browser made by mozilla, but can be installed in addition to mozilla. They are not the exact same browser.... reading aroudn the mozilla site will explain the differences.

Question 2:

Red had intentionally removed mp3 support from their os, because they are bastards :) All you need to do to get it back is to uninstall their media players, and go download the origional versions from their respective websites, and install from souce. a bit of RTFM, but nothing too difficult.
