warning: vs-5150

I was looking at my /var/log/messages and found a lot of errors like this one:

kernel: ReiserFS: sda2: warning: vs-5150: search_by_key: invalid format found in block 16901805. Fsck?

I am running SLES 9

Any idea what would be causing this warning?

I don't know what caused it, but I'd take its suggestion of running fsck on the file-system. If you can't umount it inside your running system, re-boot with a live CD and run fsck on it and see if that takes care of it.
