w3m seg faults

I've been using and loving w3m all day and it's been working like a charm. Then, between one second and the next, it's started seg faulting all over the place. Every time I try to reply to a post. I was quoting a post in a thread, mcedit came up, I wrote it, saved the temp file, went to submit, *crash*. And I've done exactly this without the *crash*. I checked /var/log/messages and mc was complaining about a missing /dev/gpmctl - unsure of the relevance, but I switched to nano and it did the same thing. So I assume it's w3m. However, I've spawned Lynx *from* w3m and I can post in Lynx. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be, or where I could find out about it, or do I need to email the author or something?
