Hi,
I just compiled Mplayer from source. Went fine. Still getting the same error when trying to view an MKV file with WVC1 video encoding. I installed both the w2codecs and w64codecs. No difference.
Here's the mplayer error. See the mediainfo on the file below. How can I get mplayer to understand this file? The audio complains but works.
Xine dies immediately and vlc plays at 2 frames per second.
