Vuze (Azureus) 4.6 NAT problem with the TCP port in Fedora 15
I just switched to Vuze (Azureus) on my Netbook with Fedora 15 (Gnome 3.0.1) and I seem to be experiencing the most common problem in Vuze, a NAT problem. Having searched through a chaotic mountain of guides and tutorials on the internet I gathered that I had to configure a static IP address (through system-config-network), switch the NetworkManager off and Network on (through chkconfig), and add an exception for the port (both TCP and UDP) in the firewall. After adding the exception in the firewall (and before doing the other things) the UDP connection comes out fine, but whatever I do I still get the message "NAT error - Connection timed out (*string of numbers, 16 digits*)" from the TCP port. What else should I do?
I also wonder: where the things I did necessary? (and most of all: is this worth the bother? maybe I should just switch to Ktorrent, Vuze seems to be a memoryhog anyway...)
