Question VSFTPD - FXP problem

Hi All,

I have spent quite some time now pulling my hair out trying to work out WTF i am doing wrong but i cannot figure it out.

I am running Slackware current with VSFTPD v2.0.1

Below is my config.

anonymous_enable=NO
local_enable=YES
write_enable=YES
dirmessage_enable=YES
xferlog_enable=YES
connect_from_port_20=YES
ftpd_banner=Welcome to ftp.xxxxxxx.com
chroot_local_user=YES
pasv_min_port=60000
pasv_max_port=65535
pasv_promiscuous=YES
port_promiscuous=YES

I have ports 21, 20 & 60000 --> 65535 allowed through the firewall to the box.
Everything else firewalled.

Below is an example of what occurs when i try to FXP a file to the server.

TYPE I
200 Type set to I.
TYPE I
200 Switching to Binary mode.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,17,36)
PORT xxx,xxx,xx,xxx,17,36
521 Illegal PORT command
ABOR
225 ABOR command successful.
Transfer Failed!

Ip addresses and hostnames removed to protect the innocent.

Thanks in advance.
