Hi!
I have a shared file archive (/home/share ) where registered users can up- and download files (FTP, scp, cp, whatever...). Access (rwx) to this area is controlled by a group called "file_shared", others have no access.
I want to set up a FTP-only account to have upload access on a chroot'ed directory (ex. /home/anon), plus read-only access to the /home/share directory. First part is easy, but I haven't got a clue how I can have a chroot jail, and simultaneously have a soft link to the /home/share directory (no, "ln -s /home/share" in /home/anon didn't work without removing the chroot jail in /etc/vsftpd.chroot_list). And I can't find any docs about chroot jail combined with soft links outside the jail..
The installation is based on RedHat 8 with basic vsftpd (minor changes in vsftpd.conf).
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for help - and sorry for bad English...
