VSFTPD - can download but cant upload.

Hey all, I have set up an FTP server with access to /home/user1 which I set permissions to 777. But whenever I try to upload to it, I get an

451 Failure writing to local file.
Error closing data transfer

Now this sounds like a permission problem but I cant find it.

This is my ls -l
