Question vsftpd and certificates

Hey,

I've recently been asked to setup our FTP server to accept connections from a remote host. They sent me a file "id_dsa.pub" with instructions to add this key to the xfer user.

Unfortunately I've no idea how to do this!

Can someone give me some instructions please?

I'm running vsftpd 2.0.5 on Centos 5.3

Thanks!

What instruction? They just told me to "add it". Add it where? Add it using a commmand? Or just copy it to a certain location? Do i need to change a config file setting afterwards?

I think they mean append public key file to authorized keys
ftp_user$cd .ssh
ftp_user$ cat id_rsa.pub>> authorized_keys

Thanks

Thanks. I'll try that and see what they say.
