May be, you can find it in "..VPU_SW_AND_VPU_FIRMWARE.." ?

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/...e=IMX27_CODECS

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/...sign_Tools_Tab

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/...geType=product

MX27ADS_FULL_VPU_SW_AND_VPU_FIRMWARE_2.2.4_WINCE_TO2.X_ONLY

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/...geType=product
.....

With no info about 'vpu_io.h ' on the internet, it seems
these files have been used by companies only.
They usually don't leak any info about developing.

And this probably means : No help to get from anybody.
If you can't disable the including of the files,
you will have to sort it out youself.
.....
