VPN Server

So I just got a new phone, with Verizon and I have 2GB a month, 4GB total but I have to share it with the family. At school, they block a lot of sites, like Youtube, FB, etc. I'm looking to get a VPN to bypass their filters. Considering it's just a public school with "Tech Specialists" that were dumb enough to setup the Active Directory to include people's passwords, I doubt they block IPsec, PPTP, L2TP. In case they do though, what would be my alternatives? Running openvpn on port 443? My schools internet speeds are around 15mb down 5mb up and my home internet speed is 10mb down 1mb up. Don't tell me to use some free service, because I plan to be watching Youtube at school so I can't exactly share the vpn server with other people and I can't really have a cap on the amount I transfer.

To sum up what I just said, is my best plan to run openvpn on port 443? I have an Android phone, so I'd have to download an app to get openvpn compatibility. Should I test ipsec, PPTP, and L2TP ports? Also, would just a simple port scan reveal if these ports are open, I don't think they can be connected to the district backbone without having one of these running. They use Windows, majority of them being Windows Server and if they do have any linux servers they are not to be found.

The forum rules forbid assistance w/ illegal activities, and circumventing
your schools policies in terms of network usage definitely classifies.
