VPN Client
I need a VPN Client for Linux. I am currently using Ubuntu. Its for accessing the wireless network in my institution. The one they use on the Windows Platform is Cisco VPN Client.
I need the same or an equivalent for Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). Any ideas ? |
You need to get the linux vpn client from Cisco (try here: http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/tableb...opic=270636499 or you may find it from Google)
then you'll need to compile it and configure the vpn profile to be able to connect to your vpn server. Syl. |
I tried the site, but you need some kind of login to be able to access the download page.

Yes you need to register, but I think it's free. AFAIK, I could download my version from a university website found with Google... But after a little search you can find a site with reference to a direct download... here :-) : http://www.longren.org/2007/05/17/ho...4-feisty-fawn/

You could also try vpnc. We use a Cisco vpn concentrator and vpnc works pretty well for me. You should be able to find it in the Ubuntu repositories using your preferred package installer.
