When I try to add the Volume Control back on the panel, I get this:

I still have sound, but I cannot install the volume control panel.
Already tried reinstalling the gnome_applets through the rpm like one post recommended, and it did nothing for me. Any suggestions?
P.S. I realized I get the same error(or similar) trying to add other applets to the panel, or even remove them. The other items will delete/install but the volume control will not.
Also tried to use Pules Audio Volume control, but that gives me a "connection refused" message.
