VncViewer - No Icons!!


when I log into another rh 8.0 server, I see the background clearly, but there are no icons and no command line.

Help!

what background? what icons? what command line? how about you actaully explain what you're talking about in more detail. you know what you're looking at, we don't... thanks

sorry,,,

I am logging into a rh server running kde desktop.

Of the 7 or 8 times I have logged in using vncviewer, on one occasion all of the kde icons appeared and I was able to administer that machine remotely.

All of the other times all that displays is the kde blue background and no icons nor taksbar
