VNC - Windows - Linux


Hi,
I need detailed help with vnc client and server. I'd like to run the server under linux and connect to it from a windows pc. What should i do? How can i start the server in linux? Anything special?
Please help me, it is very important for me.

Install TightVNC on both machines:
http://www.tightvnc.com

On linux run:
vncserver

then supply a password and look for the dsiplay that it is running on. From the windows client connect to:
ip.address.of.server:X

where X is the display number.
