VNC screen auto lock
Where do I go to disable VNC session from auto locking? Since you have to login to the VNC anyway, I see no reason to have to login twice and its anything when I have an active VNC session minimized for too long then have to login again.
Can't imagine this being too hard just can't find what file I need to edit for this.
Are you sure this is a VNC-specific thing? I spent a while chasing this about, and found (on Fedora) that I needed to uncheck a box: System/Preferences/Look and Feel/Screensaver/Lock Screen when screensaver is active
I found several VNC model work differently. At my last employer, I found there is a script run behind, called xlock, and I needed to kill that process to run. So, I can disable lock. Another employer, I found a little easier, although I had to research. You can go /System/Preferences/Screensaver and uncheck Active Screensaver and lock screen.
You can still lock from /System/Lock Screen if you want.
