VNC problem on Red Hat ES 5

Dear all

I've installed VNC on my Red Hat Enterprise Server 5.2 server.

When I try to start VNC I get the following errors in the VNC log file.

Does anyone know what is wrong with my setup?

Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb'

I think this means that you have multiple stuff wrong, but this one

Code:
xsetroot: unable to open display '<server name>:1'
I think means that the VNC process is not running as a user with the correct privileges to directly access a device file in /dev folder in order to connect to the xserver... hope this helps...

I once tried to also get VNC going on my Linux setup but gave up after a few weeks of trying.
