phlyersphan Member Registered: Jun 2004 Location: Chicago, IL USA Distribution: Mandrake 10 Posts: 103 Rep:	OK... I've suffered through this problem twice now! The second time - first I set the CDROm in VMWare to /dev/hdc, with legacy emulation enabled. (I had to do a chmod a66 /dev/hdc to get it to work first). Then I booted the virtual machine and at the black VMWare screen, hit F2 to enter setup. Go into VMWare's bios and make sure it is set to boot from CDROM in the Boot menu. From there, all was well.... finally.... again!!!
