vmware question
hello i am usman
i am using Vmware workstation 4, i have installed it on windows 2000 advanced server. i am working on local area network. I want to create a new virtual machine of Windows 98 operating system on my local area network having IP 192.168.0.113 while IP address of my server in which i hav installed Vmware has IP 192.168.0.1 can you tell me how i would create guest windows 98 virtual machine on network. and use it like network operating system as i am using windows 98 machine on network. vmware installs vlans to connect through, it should have a connection through the host machine

You told me vmware uses vlan for connection through any system on network but you did not tell me where is the vlan located and how i can use it with vmware to achieve my destiny plz guide me about it Thanks usman |
If they are created they will be visable on the host system in network properties, also on the client system they will be seen as network connections
