Vmware nat configuration

Hi

I am trying to get this vmware NAT working, on windows it works perfectly but when I try to configure it on Redhat AS4 it just wont work

I edited nat.conf and add the test nat, and changed all ips as the vmware switch and put the gateway as the vmware switch address. it just wont work.

Can some one tell me do I have to restart any service once I do the amendments to nat.conf or can someone give me a link which will give me step by step, what to do with this vmware NAT configuration

Thanks

Regards

Which version of VMware?
My experience has been to let VMware do it's own thing when it comes to NAT; set the guest OS to DHCP unless your LAN dictates otherwise.
