VMware installation trouble


I'm havin a hard time installing it it's mainly the EULA that is giving me trouble, it gets to the end and i don't know how to accept it so i can run vmware. Sorry this is very noob question.

maybe a screenshot would help us understand the problem. Using the tab button or down arrows don't work?

If, at the end of the EULA, it says, accept the EULA, just type in "y" to accept it.

If it's something else, then I don't know.

Seems like the script makes you read the file with less. You can quit less by pressing 'q'. The script should detect that and ask if you're agreeing.

That works but i can an error saying that i have no os installed and i have a windows xp disc but i don't know how to install it, must i mount it then it will boot?

at what point do you get that error? are you trying to install the windows vs of VMWare in Linux, or are you trying to install the Linux vs?

make sure to click on the link listed:

once you have that done, then you can start mucking around with getting winXP installed as a virtual OS.

i'm installing xp now nevermind i'm good just had to change my default cd rom to hdc instead of hdd lol
