VMWare 4.5 with a Wireless Nic

I am using RH 9 as a VMWare guest machine on a Windows XP machine. Can anyone help me with the setup of a wireless nic but it doesn't detect the network. It seems to detect the NIC as eth0. Please help this future linux user.

Thanks in Advance.

Are you talking about pcmia cards? I use VMware 4.5 with WinXP as a guest OS and Slackware 9.1 as the host OS. My reading of the docs is that only certain ethernet pcmcia cards and certain pcmcia modems are supported. If you aren't talking about pcmcia then ignore this post.
