vmware 4.5.1 on Mandrake 10 not working

a newbie here needing some help.

I have Mandrake 10 installed (clean install) and have VMWare insalled on it as well. everythignis fine up to here. how ever, when i try to install Windows XP into VMWare, it says that "no bootable Floppy, CD was detected" what's going on here?

has anyone experienced this? can anyone help?

Mandrake 10.0 is not ready for prime time (IMHO and quite a few others). A LOT of bugs of different types are showing up.
