Red face vmware 4.0 having RedHat 7.3 booting problem from CD

Hi All:

Host OS version: Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600, Service Pack 1
Current config file: C:\Programs\Linux7.3\Linux7.3.vmx

VMware Workstation 4.0.0 build-4460

when I trun power on vmware with RedHat Linux Disc 1 in CD drive.

VMware says:

No bootable CD, floppy or hard disk was detected.
To install an operating system, insert a bootable CD or floppy and restart the virtual machine by clicking the Reset button.

How should i solve this. ?
