VLC missing dependencies

Hi, I'm trying to install vlc on my Fedora6, but whenever I try to install I keep getting missing dependency errors:

Quote:

Error: Missing Dependency: libslang-utf8.so.1 is needed by package vlc
Error: Missing Dependency: libgnutls.so.11(GNUTLS_REL_1_0_9) is needed by package vlc
Error: Missing Dependency: libdbus-1.so.1 is needed by package vlc
Error: Missing Dependency: mozilla >= 1.7.13 is needed by package vlc
Error: Missing Dependency: libgnutls.so.11 is needed by package vlc
Error: Missing Dependency: libSDL_image-1.2.so.0 is needed by package vlc

Anybody know where I could get these things? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Thanks

hi there.

well this is one of the basic problem faced while installing any packages...Package dependency.

Either you have got a VLC package which is looking for packages newer than the version of packages that you have installed or you have not these packages installed on your machine from your FC6 CDs.

The best option if

you have internet connection: add a yum/apt repository which will autmatiaclly get these packages for you.

do not have internet connection: get the VLC package w.r.t to FC6 packages.

Hi, when you say:

How exactly do I do that? Sorry, I'm pretty new to linux and still trying to understand how everything works.
