Question Virtualization on Debian 7 amd64


Hello everybody,

maybe somebody can help me I'm trying to configure a software for creating virtual machines I have configured all file necesary but I don't know what I have wrong, when I trying to create a VM the script I executed sent me a some errors.

let me show what the script executed is sending me when I try to create a virtual machine.

Lenny is not supported anymore for quite some time, so possibly it can't download the files for Lenny during the debootstrap phase. Try it with a newer version.

Depends on what you want to do, but I would guess that the current stable version (currently Wheezy) is always a good choice, at least it is for my (physical) servers.

hello Tobi,

Thank you very much for your answer and recommendation, I'll try it with wheezy version.

I'm trying to learn about virtualization on linux this is the reason I want to configure the XEN application in my laptop but i didn't know why was the issue when i was execute the script sent me the previously shown error.

now I'll try with other version how it was your recommendation.

Hello Tobi,

I tried with wheezy version but I receive the same error, I'm going to try to perform a reinstallation using a x386 version instead a x64 version maybe it work.
