Thumbs down VirtualBox 4.1


Hello all.
i install Oracle virtualbox 4.1 but i can't access to the USB device
VirtualBox can't detect my USB device,Please guide me.

Which OS you've installed inside Virtualbox? You'll most probably need to install Virtualbox tools to your guest OS to get your USB devices recognized.

You have to install the Extension Pack to use USB devices, as the manual states:

Additional extension packs can be downloaded which extend the functionality of the VirtualBox base package. Currently, Oracle provides the one extension pack, which can be found at http://www.virtualbox.org and provides the following added functionality:

The virtual USB 2.0 (EHCI) device; see the section called “USB settings”.

Sadly, Oracle currently does not let you download when you live in Iran.

Hello.
I install Virtualbox tools on my guest OS and enable USB settings too but Virtual box can't detect my device.
